"The Happiest Place on Earth"

The new school year just started but already the grand kids were on Fall break!?! What do you do with 3 kids aged 11, 7 and 3 and no school? You plan a few days at Disneyland! First was a call to my Disney Vacation Club cast member who was able to help me grab the last room available at Disney's Grand Californian. Next up was packing and loading the car. A quick stop for bagels and munchies and we were on our way. Arriving at the Grand Californian in the early afternoon, we checked in, dropped off our luggage and headed off to Disney's California Adventures. The kids love to explore the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail where we spent hours running around. A few rides in Bug's Land and Car's Land and we headed back to the room for showers and snacks.

Up early the next morning, we grabbed a quick breakfast and made our way over to Disneyland. Enjoying our favorites included The Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean and Beauty and the Beast at the Royal Theatre. The grand kids burned off energy running around Tarzan's Treehouse before heading over to Tomorrowland Terrance for lunch and entertainment in the form of the Jedi Training Academy. Finished with lunch, we headed over to grab our spot in line at the Hyperion Theatre for the last showing of Frozen Live! First in line at the VIP section, we quickly made friends with the other families, enjoyed frozen lemonade and cookies and spend the next 45 minutes exchanging Disney, Frozen and stories of our love for the parks with our new "friends."

Finally it was time to secure our seats for the show. Although we have had the privilege of enjoying Frozen Live several times during our visits, it is always a magical experience to see the live performance and amazing special effects.

With darkness taking over the parks and 3 tired grand kids, it was time to pick up our luggage and head for home. Dinner at In & Out and off to bed to dream about our next amazing magical adventures to the Disneyland Resort!

As annual pass holders, we never get enough of the amazing magical adventures at the Disneyland Resort. When was your last visit to the parks? The holiday decorations are up and ready for your family to enjoy. Delicious special themed treats and decor as well as special events make visiting the parks magical! What are you waiting for? Join me for a day or two of fun at the happiest place on earth!
