"The one and Only Ivan" an adaptation of the Newberry award winning book by Katherine Applegate, begins production at the Pinewood Studios in London.
The film is based on the true story of a group of animals who share a habitat at a suburban shopping mall, including the very special and talented gorilla, Ivan. Their living space creates a special bond and friendship between the animals. "Sharing the beauty of friendship, the power of visualization and the the significance of the place we call home" Disney's "The One and Only Ivan" brings together a cast of top names to the screen to share the special story of Ivan and his friends.
The film is produced by Angelina Jolie and directed by Thea Sharrock. The cast includes Bryan Cranston, Ramon Rodriquez, Arianna Greenblatt, Indira Varma and Eleanor Matsuura along with the vocal talents of Helen Mirren, Danny DeVito, Angelina Jolie, Sam Rockwell, Brooklynn Prince.
Part live-action, part CG (computer generated), "The One and Only Ivan" with a star studded cast and crew and screenplay will tug at our heartstrings.
