Magical Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
First let's talk about what I'm looking most forward too when I visit for the holidays. If you're a Harry Potter fan then you might have dreamed about what it would be like to experiance Christmas at Hogwarts or the surronding village, Hogsmeade or maybe even the little town we were first introduced too in the first movie when Harry was getting all of his school supplies, Diagon Alley. Well I have, and now I can experiance just that at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Look in awe as Hogwarts Castle lights up in a dazzling holiday projection show which is located in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Hogsmeade in Universal's Islands of Adventure. As you're strolling the streets of Hogsmeade enjoying a hot butterbeer soaking in all of the holiday décor listen out for the holiday themed songs that the Frog Choir sings. Once you've enjoyed your fill of Hogsmeade hop on the Hogwarts Express and head over to "London" where you'll stumble upon The Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida. There you'll see more amazing holiday decorations throughout London and if you know the "secret" to Diagon Alley to experience the talented Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees sing some of their favorite holiday songs while sipping on another hot butterbeer.
Grinchmas at Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Fans of Seuss Landing in Universal's Islands of Adventure will love Grinchmas. In the story of the Grinch and help the Whos save Christmas once again from the mean ol' Grinch in a exciting live stage show. You'll get into the holiday spirit as you sing along to all your favorites during the show. You can even start your day with a special breakfast with the Grinch. Reservations are required as you know the Grinch is a busy guy. Once you're done be sure to take a stroll through Seuss Landing to see all the Christmas décor the Whos have displayed in preparations for Christmas.
Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s
Returning again to the streets of Universal Studios Florida is the ever so popular holiday parade featuring Macy's. Party in the streets with some of your favorite characters soaring high above you including my favorite the Despicable Me Minions, our most lovable ogres Shrek and Fiona, the sweet and lovable King Julien from Madagascar as well as the Penguins of Madagascar, and many more!
Mannheim Steamroller
Performing live on the Music Plaza Stage once again this year is another fan favorite not to be missed! Mannheim Steamroller performs on select night during the months of November and December. Please be sure to check the schedule so you don't miss their amazing show filled with all you favorite holiday music.

The only true way to enjoy Universal's Holiday festivities is to stay at one of the on site hotels at Universal Orlando. Each of the resorts will have holiday décor specific to their location style, so if you're at my favorite Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort be prepared to go back in time to the 50's-60's with the holiday décor of that era.
